The RealSense RnD is part of Intel's Vision Technology Group and working to add human-like sensing and intelligence to computing devices in the areas of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), retail solutions, VR/AR and more. Our RnD team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art 3D vision sensors and platforms using miniature cameras and a system wide solution incorporating advanced optics, image processing and machine vision technologies. Our product portfolio includes Stereo 3D Cameras (RealSense brand), computer vision libraries and ASICs for depth processing with world class algorithms.

RealSense RnD is looking for a system engineer to its System Engineering Team. To be part of a winning team in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
The role requires a wide system understanding of all the HW, Optical and Mechanical aspects of our advanced 3D cameras from definition through characterization and into mass production.

What will you do?

The role includes taking part in the architecture and definition of our products, leading their integration and characterization from power on through prototypes and all the way till manufacturing, as well as solving complex multi-disciplinary system issues involving the HW/Optics/Mechanics/SW/Algo domains in close cooperation with the entire development team. As part of the role you will be required to set definitions, generate integration plans, run system tests, analyze data and perform failure analysis based on lab findings.
This is a unique opportunity to take part of E2E system engineering work from concept to end-product in cutting edge vision technology.


Qualifications


What are we looking for?

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
  • Good understanding of analog and digital electrical circuits
  • Hands on experience in HW lab work, measurement equipment and test methods
  • Excellent HW debug skills
  • Knowledge in system integration methodologies
  • Independent and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills
  • Capable of efficient multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment
- Knowledge in optical devices and/or computer vision - Advantage
- Code writing experience - Advantage
- Experience in writing architectural definitions - Advantage
